Spanish language school in Cancún (Mexico)

 Our Spanish language school in Cancun (Mexico) was founded in 1993. The school is located in the older part of Cancun. Everything is within walking distance, such as restaurants, super market , banks, bus stops were the buses are leaving to the beaches, etc.
The school of spanish in Cancún is a 2 story building with 12 classroom and a patio were students meet within the breaks. Classrooms are equipped with fans and air conditioning. There is also a student residence building on the school campus.
Our goal is to offer the best service, and to ensure total academic satisfaction. Each student is important for us . The congenial atmosphere of the school makes the contact between teachers and students easier and friendlier.
Our professors have university degrees with teaching certification. They have also completed our “Spanish as a Second Language” intensive training course in addition to various professional development workshops both nationally and internationally. These include the ACTFL (American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages)-sponsored seminar in the U.S.A.

 Cancún is located at the south-eastern tip of the Yucatan peninsula, in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
The peninsula is largely a karstic formation, composed of limestone bedrock. Cenotes or sinkholes are wiedespread in the northern lowlands. These sinkholes were and are the main water source for many ancient and contemporary Maya people.
The Hotel-Zone (beach) is situated on a peninsula, approximately 20 km long and 400 m wide, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean sea. All the beaches are free to the public. Buses run every 3 to 5 minutes between the Hotel-Zone and downtown.
Cancún has an excellent climate. You can swim in the sea the whole year. Daily average high temperatures range from 81 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (27 to 32 Celcius) with the hottest average temperatures in July and August. However, temperature can climb up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit ( 38 Celciuls) Low temperatures seldom dip below 65 degrees Fahrenheit (18 Celcius).
Islands
Isla Mujeres is a small island about 12 miles from the coast of the Yucatan peninsula. It is a nice place for snorkeling only 20 minutes by boat from Puerto Juárez in Cancún.
Cozumel is a beautiful island with spectacular coral reefs and great nature. A one-hour drive from Cancun takes you to Playa del Carmen where you can take the ferry that leaves every hour for a 45 minute boat ride to Cozumel.
 The most important Mayan Sites Tulum is the only Mayan site located on the coast, a little over one hour south of Cancun by car or bus.
Cobá is in the middle of the jungle, 30 minutes beyond Tulúm.
Chichén Itza one of the most important Mayan sites with spectacular pyramids, is a two-hour drive from Cancún on the road to Mérida.Chichén Itza became the capital of the Yucatán Maya after the end of the Classic period. They organized a trading empire (1000-1521) that stretched from the Gulf Coast to Honduras.
Every week-end the school offers trips to the most famous archeological sites. For each excursion there is a guide who explains the place. All excursions are one day trips and the entrance and lunch is included in the price. Students who are signing up for the trip will get an introduction before they leave.
Learn to prepare Mexican dishes wshich you can prepare also in your home country such as: enchiladas, tacos, chiles rellenos, etc. Classes are held once a week.
Salsa Dance
Clases are held daily with a professional dancer at the local Salsa dance club. After clases you are inveted to stay and practice with the live salsa group.

- Host families
A key part of our program is the home stays we offer with selected families. All students are encouraged to participate in this opportunity, as it provides an invaluable source of Spanish instruction as well as a wonderful interpersonal experience. In general, home stays are regarded as the most effective way to put into practice the Spanish you learn in the classroom. Living with a family who speaks no English, in combination with intensive study, provides a wholly integrated exposure to both the language and the culture. In this way the learning process is greatly facilitated, as is the speed with which fluency is acquired.
You can choose between bed and breakfast and half board program.
- School residence
The school residence is located right on the school campus with 4 bedrooms. It is a very quiet and peaceful area. You will have your own room and share the kitchen and living room with other students. The rooms are equipped with single/double bed and fan (no air conditioning).
- Student hous
 Only 10 minutes walking from the school is our student house located with 8 individual and double rooms, each room with it´s own bathroom. The students share the kitchen and the roof terrace for sun bathing, eating, studying etc.
- Downtown apartments
They are located only 5 minutes walking distance from the school, equipped with 2 queen-size beds, kitchen, and air-conditioning. Very close to supermarket, restaurants and banks.
- Beach apartments
The apartments are located on the heart of the hotel zone of Cancun in a beautiful condo complex who has to offer a lot to their guests, including the superb beach front location.
Within walking distance of the main shopping malls, night clubs, gourmet restaurants and the Convention Center. 16 Miles, ( 26 km) from international airport and 6 miles ( 10 km ) from downtown. To school by bus approximately 10 minutes.
The rooms are equipped with 2 double beds, kitchenette , kitchen utensils, refrigerator, air conditioning, phone, TV, toaster, coffee maker. In the rate included is a continental breakfast.
