Ibiza is the closest Balearic Island to Spain's mainland. The island's capital - Eivissa - was declared a Human Heritage Site by UNESCO.

In Ibiza all visitors find what they are looking for. Absolute tranquility at staggering beaches for the stressed, historical places and art for the culture interested, hot party nights for the night owls and an excelent choice of land and water sports for the active.

The more than 50 wonderful beaches are known for their wide variety and turqoise water. From sandy to rocky and from lonely hidden small bays to large well visited beaches.

Furthermore this superlative island offers it's visitors idyllic villages, a first class culinaric landscape and a spectacular history reaching from Phenicians, Romans and Arabs to the Hippies in the 1960s and 1970s.

With our leisure programmes we give you the possibility to explore Ibiza's history and culture and to be carried away by the mysteries and passions of this island.

THE LANGUAGE SCHOOL

Our Spanish language school in Ibiza is located in the city centre of Eivissa (Ibiza Town). Only 5 minutes from the historic part of town, 5 minutes from the historic port and only 5 minutes from the beach Figueretas

The completely air-conditioned and very luminous classrooms have modern video and audio equipment. All students have free internet and wi-fi access and the library contains a wide range of materials for spanish language students like spanish books and novels, course and workbooks, CDs and tapes for practicing listening, dictionaries, spanish magazines as well as the daily press.

The central location allows our students to experience the mediterranean life in Eivissa very closely and to start the day with an immersion in spanish culture: the typical spanish breakfast - café con leche with sweet pastry - in one of the many pleasant bars and cafés surrounding the school.

Shared flats: Shared apartments give you a high degree of independency. The apartments vary in size and the flatmates can be other students or other visitors of Ibiza. You might have between 1 and 5 flatmates and you can choose between single and double rooms.

Family accommodation: This accommodation type gives you the chance to get a detailed insight in the Spanish way of life. Here you will experience closely how the Spanish organize their life.
All our host families are within walking distance (1-15 minutes) from the school. Host families can have many constellations: single families with father, mother and children; single mothers with their children; couples without children, etc.

Hotels & private apartments
If you prefer to have a place of your own, please feel free to ask us for the possibilities of private apartments (also at the beach), hotels and hostels. We can offer you all price types.

Our proven methodology based on the syllabus of the Instituto Cervantes.

Our method, at all levels, is based on an integrative and communicative approach. This means that we teach throughout the entire course the four main language
skills: speaking, listening, writing and reading. This way we make sure our students learn to speak, write and understand correctly. Furthermore, cultural aspects will always be included.

:: INTENSIVE COURSES

In our intensive course, you will join a small group with a maximum of 8 students, although the average is 2-6 students. The lessons take place from Monday to Friday. This course provides you with everything for a good learning progress without quitting you time for your leisure activities. There is still plenty of time to get to know the island of Ibiza and its people.

Levels: all

This is our most popular course in Ibiza. You learn general Spanish in 4 daily lessons and additionally you have an extra lesson a day with mainly cultural content. That way you will learn and improve your Spanish and you will get the opportunity to use what you have learned by speaking in real conversations with other students and teachers about current topics, arts, history, film, music and cross-cultural aspects such as ways of greeting.

This is our super intensive course for the most motivated students. If you want to progress very quickly, we recommend this type of course. You will learn general Spanish in 4 daily lessons and deepen and intensify this knowledge in two additional daily lessons about the Spanish culture and all of its facets.

>> LEVELS

On the first day of school, students who already have some previous knowledge of Spanish will be level-tested to ensure correct placement from the beginning. Lessons start immediately after the test.

All levels are offered from Beginners to Advanced. Our 6 levels follow the European Framework of Reference for Languages and the guidelines of Instituto Cervantes.

Students completing their courses successfully will be granted the diploma and academic report which certifies the type of course, the number of hours studied and the level of proficiency attained.

The one-to-one classes in Spanish as a foreign language are your tailor made course. All the contents as well as the class times are adapted to the participant.

We recommend this course type especially for students who are preparing for a certain exam and for professionals and students who need a specific intensive programme. The topics include general Spanish, Spanish for marketing professionals, tourism Spanish, Spanish for business, Spanish for banking, Spanish for lawyers, Spanish for medical professionals and the preparation for official examinations, such as DELE or exams of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.

Daily: 5/6 lessons

This is an intensive programme of private lessons which combined with General Intensive group classes is ideal for students who want to improve their linguistic skills in the shortest time possible. Minimum one weeks study.
